Bishop Creek Backlighting
This was taken the week before the CANP meet just below Lake Subrina.
I think it might be a little warmed up than should be.

Pretty scene. It might be a little warm, but it is very hard to tell on my lousy work monitor. I find the dead branches lower middle a bit distracting, but not much you could do about that. Nice color along the creek!

Very nice backlighting here, Steve. Looks like the water held up very well too, even in the direct sunlight.

Love the lighting Steve. Also love how the creek is going away rather than towards...the combination of these two things is very cool

Sweeet shot!!! The light on the Aspens and color is spectacular. :toast:

I wouldn't change a thing. This is one of the best images I have seem yet of that area.

I am really getting psyched for next Fall since I couldn't make it this year.

Great job!

Steve,

Wonderful perspective and lighting. It feels very lively.

Great lighting and wonderful color. And like Greg, I like the "down-stream" perspective. The bottom of the frame is a little busy, but the color and light still make for a strong image.

Steve,

Beautiful backlighting and I think the color is just fine - the rushing water of the creek is white and nuetral so I don't see a strong color casting. I think you did extremely well to capture the exposure range and hold the highlights in the water. I like the comp and the viewpoint.
