Northern lights
I was finally able to access the HD that held my entire Alaska trip. Talk about a stressful couple weeks. I believe that this was the only clear night we had in 6 days. I guess I expected the lights to "dance" a little more, but really, i'm not complaining.

Nikon D80
f/3.5 iso 640 120sec

I know all about hard drive stress! I'm glad it worked out for you!

What a beautiful shot. I love the silhouetted tree line along the bottom edge. I would love to see the Northern Lights one day. Thanks for posting.

Hard to show dancing lights in a photo anyway Rylan. :)

Shots like this always amaze me that the sky can actually look like that. I would have liked to see a tad more of the bottom of the shot for more contrast with the sky.

Very nice just the same

Pretty cool! During my Alaska trip I didn't get to see any Aurora, I was bummed.
