Gun Stock lense mount

I am considering mounting my 600mm lense on a rifle gun stock or similar device. Has anyone done this? Is there such on the market? Thought I would ask before having one made. Any advice would be appreciated.

Use a tripod with a gimbal type head. A 600 prime lens on a gunstock is tough to hold still.
