Eastern Bluebird+Repost
Havent posted for a while as mega busy sorting house etc out and trying to get hold of Nikon lenses  anyway i picked up the 600 a couple of days ago so popped out this morning to give it a test, Quite a few of these birds around at the moment in the fieds and on the surrounding fence posts so this was just a grab shot on my way to a state park,Taken as the sun popped over the horizon from the car on BB

Simple & effective Dave, nice to see you out with your new toy :jump: :jump: :jump:

IMHO not too sure about the colour, perhaps it's a little too green

Hi David
Welcome to the dark side, how are you finding the new gear? Glad to see your getting settled after your move to the US. Not bad for a grab shot, love the light.

Nice one :toast:

I agree the green is a bit funny, but the bird is excellent. So is the bokeh, so you should have fun with the new lens. If this is a grab shot, looking forward to seeing some more.

Nice picture, but I'm also not sure about the green background.

bg does look a bit intense, but a very nice postcard from America....

You are right the greens are a bit much so have had a go at reprocessing

This certainly looks an improvement on the first image Dave, much more 'natural' looking colours. I thin that morning light conflicts a bit with the bird on this occasion, but I'm sure we will see a lot more of these from you so I wait with anticipation..

Good luck with the new Kit, been giving some serious thought about a leap myself...
