Would like some feedback on this one. The swirl caught my eye but it was really slow moving so I had to slap on the 9-stop and take a 3 minute exposure to get enough movement on it. I really liked the color off the upper part of the canyon reflecting in the pool, but I'm not sure if the background is strong enough. Thoughts?

Great shot Bryan, I love the water movement and colors

This is a really cool shot...I saw it on flickr on my phone and getting to see it now on the comp.....I just wish there was more water coming down the hill....other than that, I really like this!

I like it also, did you try a polarizer to cut the glare and maybe see the swirl better?

What Darren said but one I would definitly keep!

The more distant bg seems incongruent with the fg swirl to me. But it's a neat shot, I think perhaps better as a square?

Cliff, I'm pretty sure I had the polarizer on to maximize the color reflected in the water, but I don't remember for sure. My thought was to get a shot of the reflection of the sunlit trees and have the swirl overlayed on top. Yeah, the falls in the background are sort of an afterthought, but I thought since there wasn't much water there (blame a hydro facility - it would otherwise have been really impressive), I felt it worked as a good decoration and keep the BG from being sort of a monotonous black blah.

Overall a cool shot in my book. I would try to tone down the reflection - especially the yellows/reds to get the front/back flow to work better. That much light stops the transition a bit.....
