Well, early morning as I got there a little late for the early rays.
Taken this am, crisp, cool and beautiful!
Photoshop used to remove a couple of contrails, forgot to call SEA traffic control to have the jets rerouted.
Suggestions welcome

Hi Craig, I like the daytime colors in these...I am downloading mine now....Great to finally meet you...too bad it had to be 80 miles away since we only live about 2 miles from each other...how funny is that.......lets get out shooting sometime...I found some great spots today and will try and get one up here!!!!

The second one is nice, you should have moved a bit to the right though. It would even have been better if you had been able to get that yellow plant in focus.

I know what you mean about contrails... I was up there last Tuesday AM doing a workshop and I counted 14 contrails reflecting in the water between 7:15-7:45 AM. It seemed that right at the sweet light things are OK but right after that they go downhill pretty fast at TL.. I liked #2 but I agree with MH's comment.

Thanks for the suggestion, I should have taken a second shot with the bush in focus and then blended... next time!
I prefer the 2nd one if not just the fresh prespective on a very common shooting area....if I had any nigles...it would be trying to get the tip of hood a little more centered in the grass that echos the shape in the reflection. (dont know if that is possable) but contrats on the very fresh perspective Trillium!
The first strikes me as the classic mountain reflection portrait; I like the lighting and feeling of calm. In the second one I really enjoy the fg interest of the seasonally colored foliage. Also really like how the mountain sweeps down into its foothills so gracefully. The lighting is great and casts more of a mood. I'll vote for the 2nd image. Nice going on both.
