Grey seal, no sand
Had another bash at some seal pictures this weekend. This individual had particularly strong markings and blended very well with the background pebbles. As you can see, our seals here in Wales don't go for the sand but enjoy a nice soft bed of rock!

it merges in very well with its surroundings. I think I would have preferred a lower viewpoint but that may not have been possible. A nice shot all the same.

She's obviously well aware of you.. They do blend in well don't they.. Nice to see a different view point from time to time and I guess you were quite a few feet up a cliff..? No easy access and therefore a good record shot of a female grey seal in moult..

I actually like this, a different take with the high angle, I also like the diagonal comp and color. The seal blends in perfectly.

This is exactly the image I was asking you about in one of your previous posts - I love it!

Another excellent shot Robert. The pebbles certainly show the seal off really well. :toast:

Like this very much indeed, the different viewpoint and eye contact make it.

Hi Robert

As has already been said a very different viewpoint and it is always good to view something different. Nice one!
