The colors in the South St. Vrain were amazing yesterday. The cloud cover made everything really pop. I was crouching on a steep slope looking slightly down and trying not to fall over as I shot this.

Really nice dominant reds in this compostion Paul, I like the inclusion of the rock at the bottom too!. How far up the SSV Canyon is the colour still good? - I'll have to try and get up there before it's all gone too.

Wonderful color! Sumac are one of my favorite colors of fall.

Beautiful arrangement of color in your comp, Paul. If you want to play around with cropping, try a square crop from the left edge. Another possible comp that places some creative emphasis on the orange bush. Really nice image.

Beautiful colors here. The inclusion of the rock is a great anchor to the scene.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Nick, from downtown, after you make the left onto Rt 7, 3 to 5 miles up has the best color right now. After today's weather though, don't hold me to that.
