Beautiful and intense splashes of color, with the composition nailed down by the one stationary leaf, which kind of appears to be partially lodged on a rock? Also, looking at it makes me dizzy, but then I don't have far to go to get there.

Ahhh, the alpha & omega in full swirling color. Be careful Tim, if the Governor's wife sees this she might think this is art and have to hang it in the mansion!

This was a very weird little pool of swirling foam and leaves. Some of the leaves would rotate at different speeds, and some in different directions, and then the entire batch of leaves would rotate as well - I spent about 30 minutes looking down and shooting until I ran out of memory. The one leaf in the middle simply did not rotate during this particular exposure.

Best not speak the A word too loudly, Wayne, lest Tim decide that he's got to cut off an ear.

You mean A for art or A for Alpha?! I've got a Sony Alpha and love it! I do try to steer clear of the other A word, although come to think of it I guess my new gallery logo has it included - perhaps the gov's wife will talk to me now. Yaaaa, probably not...

Tim, this photo reminds me of some of the times we used to sit around the campfire while drinking wine and look at the fire through the end of a glass! It is amazing what you can see throught that glass. Great shot of the stationary leave in the swirling eddy.
