I am trying to cut a truck out of one photo and paste it on a sunset photo. I am using the magic wand to isolate the truck but can not copy it so I can paste it....What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your help.

I don't know version 6 Gary, but in newer versions of Elements and CS that I've used on PC's, you can simply hit Edit -> Copy in the menus, then switch to the sunset image, and hit Edit -> Paste. Are these not available in PS6?

After the selection, are you putting the truck on a new layer?? Then copying the new layer to the sunset photo??

Keith...No, I tried to copy Truck directly to Sunset........I will try it your way and see if I have better luck.

See if you can right-click on the selected truck and choose Copy Selection to Layer (something like that). Then open your other image and drag the truck layer into the new image. I sure hope this works for version 6!
