Red Deer Stag Roaring
Just spent the last six days with Edwin Kats showing him our English Reds. We got some decent stuff and some decent weather. This is one of my favourite shots from the sessions.

Canon 1D MK 11, 500mm Lens, 1.4x Convertor, 1/160, F5.6, ISO 200

Great shot Danny, nice seeing you down there too!

Love the eye contact - the bracken/grass on the antlers complete it!

You wouldn't get a better view of his mouth than that if you were his dentist.

Very well done Danny, superb capture.. The detail and colours in this image are spot on in my opinion and the action just adds to it all. Very inspiring..

I have never been too excited by having a go at "The Rut" but after seeing this perhaps I will have to have a go Danny. :toast:

Nice work Danny, I got a few that I was happy with on my trip, although would have liked a frosty cold morning

an excellent shot. Great timing and a very complementary foreground and background.
