Pretty pleased with this one. On our way down from Blowing Rock Saturday on Hwy 321, looked in the rearview mirror and saw sunbeams breaking through the clouds. Stopped quick and got this. Also took a three shot pano. I think it loses something in compression.
Nikon D50, 1/50Sec, 55MM, F5.7, Tripod.

i think a pannoramic crop would take this to another level.

I agree with Emily. The top cloud layer could be cropped without loss and much gain. Lovely photo!
