As an alternative to hordes of photographers chasing red deer around Bradgate Park (myself included), I decided to leave the crowds behind and try something arty-farty.
Sycamore and bracken
Canon 1ds
150 mm
4 sec @ f22
ISO 50
Tripod with video fluid head
Tilting the camera during exposure
C&c welcomed.

Same as John here Chris - I love shots like this too
The only nit I would have is that the blurred lines are not vertical, which personally I think they should be.
Perhaps you can straighten things up in CS with the measure tool and Image>Rotate>Arbitrary?
Also I think you can afford to ramp up the contrast and saturation too.
But it's a great image to see - different from the norm so NICE ONE and well done

Love the idea, and good to see something different too - just wonder if the nearest central tree is just a bit too wide and dominant in relation to the others.
This is the type of image that always make me think ... 'I could do that' ... so why have I never been able to do it? In fact I've never even been able to see the possibility when out in the field, so well done Chris, firstly for having the vision to 'see' the picture and secondly for carrying it out so succesfully.

I do like this sort of stuff when it's done well, and this is well done.

Hi Chris
I like it - my guess is that you will have inspired quite a few of us to experiment in this area after see what I feel is a pleasing result!
Not usually my cup of tea but I must say this caught my eye, I would be quite happy to have something like that hanging on a wall in my house, lovely artistic image
