Marine Commando..!

Okay, so it's 'another seal shot' but not much of a seal...!

This is a grey seal pup (Stage 5) and was playing in a pool among the breeding colony on a remote, Scottish Island.

I think this has more of a 'fun' factor than photographically correct perhaps but I think it may also be appealing just because of that fact..?

Anyway, this one would go round and round in the pool playing with the weed and occasionally popping up to see if I was still there. Most of the time completely oblivious and appeared to be just enjoying himself..!

Kind regards,

Brett

A good title always makes a picture in my opinion. It's certainly the case here, it made me smile the moment I saw it.

Marine Commando..!

If it were American it could simply of been Navy Seal......
I really like it, shows the animal in a different environment to the shots we generally see.

Great shot and title. Loved your little story that went with it. The enjoyment that we get out of taking the photograph is the best reward.

What an excellent shot. seals are always shot in desolate places and this really stands out from the crowd.
Great idea.
