Teasel..
...lit only by 4 x 2.5W 85 - 240V AC LED bulbs assisted by aluminium foil and supermarket plastic bags.

Your lighting method is certainly interesting David but I can't help thinking your choice of subject matter could be different. For me, and it's only my personal opinion, the long teasel stem doesn't hold my interest sufficiently. Perhaps just using the teasel head would work.

I'm a big fan of many of your images, but I agree with Robert that the subject matter in this image doesn't appear to benefit from this set up!

the lighting is interesting and the effect with the dark background is very striking but I agree that the teasel head is perhaps the most attractive element here so it would be nice to see it in a bit more detail.
