Since I don't have any Rocky Mountain fall colors this year :frown: , how about a warm toned shot from Antelope Canyon. This is a recent reshoot of my avatar image which I first shot over 12 years ago. I had to go back and get it in 4x5. No HDR going on here, this is a single sheet of the good stuff - Velvia50.

Great shot! I really love the subtle detail in the dark tones.

Good stuff indeed. What's not to like? Great comp, color and detail. If your tranny has more detail in the LRC, that's a bonus.

Well John, I'd say that was worth hauling the 4x5.

I can't imagine it could be any better, John. Perfect tones and texture -- who needs fall colors?

Love the contrast of the purple and orange and the flowy-ness of it all. Very nice!

Wonderful dynamic range, especially coming from Velvia! Nicely done.

Awesome John! Wonderful range for a sheet of Velvia 50!!

And on top of that, I think I know this exact spot, and it's TIGHT! I can't believe you got the 4x5 set up here, let alone composed and focused! Well done!!!

That is AWESOME! What a wonderful exposure. Makes me want to get down there again. Inspiring.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Jesse, the bottom right doesn't have much more info unfortunately. Bringing it up just looked muddy.

Brent, yes this space is tight. To get the wide view I had my camera low to the ground and tight to the wall. I was focusing laying on my back.

Yeah, I'm surprised you got that much tonal range on Velvia - great work. Fantastic image - love the magma-hot feel in the middle.
