3 mushroooms
for some reason this year I've had real trouble finding photogenic mushrooms. Despite 3 trips to my local site, which is normally very good for fungi, all I've found were this trio. All other fungi were either past their best or deep in the undergrowth.

I think this is a Mycena species, maybe Mycena inclinata.

Canon 40D and Sigma 150mm lens.
2 images focus stacked, both 1/100 sec, f7.1, ISO 200, tripod, MLU, remote release.

Nice, the focus stacking has done a good job. It's a technique I've only just started to play with myself, I'll be more than pleased if I get results like this.

A simple scene expertly portrayed against a great BG.

Nice, the smooth background is great. The foreground moss looks a little bright, but it could be my (uncalibrated) monitor...Nice composition too
