Thanks Brad! I'm really looking forward to it and I've packed enough winter clothes to keep from chilling to the bone at night that you'd think I was headed to the artic!

BTW, great detail and colors in this closeup! See you soon I hope. Good selling this weekend!

Ahh, to see the universe in a grain of sand . . . I am greatly enjoying your macro work. Excellent Rule of Thirds composition too. What lens did you use for such wonderful bokeh?

Daniel I shot this with my canon 75-300 standard zoom at f/8. It's a lens that for an extra $100 I got when I purchased my Xti. So for a very low cost lens it can produce some nice images. Can being the optimal word. Focus is kind loose so I really have to take my time with it. Quality really falls off when it's stopped down past f/8 maybe f/11.
But I must say I am very excited, I just ordered a canon 70-200 f/4L this week along with a extension tube so I am hoping my overall quality improves and close-ups are even closer and sharper. Of course the most expensive equipment in the world is useless if the nut behind it has no brain, eye or artistic ability. So I guess time will tell.
Thanks for the comments.

Thanks Wayne, take care.
