I hiked back to Secret Falls a few days ago and took too many photos. The conditions were a little difficult, as the stream flows from east to west, so the sun is slanting from the side. I have numerous photos where the sky doesn't show (and, therefore, it's not so "hot"), but it's more difficult to appreciate the size/scale of the place. But, this low-angle view provides a reasonable sense of the size, as well as better brings in the seasonal elements...
Nice Tim - and fun to see this spot at a different time of year. I actually prefer the general composition found in the link you provided (interesting little movement effect by the way). The one posted here is nice, but the bright spot seems a bit to intense. Did you happen to grab a darker exposure that could be blended in to that area?
I thought later that I might have a darker exposure, so I'll have to see if I can find one and do some blending...

I like both versions, Tim, but probably the other one more so...maybe because it's a "warmer" image? I also like the way the waterfall twists and turns from almost center at the top down toward the bottom right.

I like the one on your link. The sky bothers me. I was in the Baraboo area over the weekend and I was a amazed at the number of bridges that were still out after the spring floods.
