Classic Shot BW (added more contrast in repost)
Once I got up there and saw the weather, I intended to make this a BW from the start. I was hoping to get something a bit different. The water wasn't real flat so I used a 2 stop ND to try and smooth it a bit.

I like your ND idea for the water, I've never tried that. I don't really play with BW much, but I'd be tempted to increase the contrast in the sky to give it a bit more punch (especially as there is so much of it). The mountain and lake are just right to my eye.

Looks just right to me the way it is! And a gorgeous classic shot, too. Nice going!

I'm liking the sky better now. :)

I was going to say the sky was too bland and should be cropped, but the boost in the contrast in the 2nd version makes it much more relevant. Very nice.

Doesnt that tree there in the middle just frustrate you? No matter where you go around this lake that tree is always in the middle.(sorry for the brief tangent). That sky really pops now! well done. maybe ill run into next time.
