Quite possibly the same stand as in Jeff's post. I've been sitting on a few from this stand since end of September, I just couldn't get any processed the way I liked. I liked this composition the most, just because it had some depth and a few patches of red in the grass. This was pretty early morning light, but still a little strong perhaps.

Really nice color in both shots, Nick! They both work well with the comps. I like how the yellow lines of aspen cut across the hill in the background on #1. Lovely blue sky to compliment the aspen, too, in both.

Hey Nick, yep, that is the same grove of aspen. I was there on October 1st and 2nd. You gotta love the colors, and accessibility of the stand. Wish I could've gotten some shots of the elk in the grove. One band of cows and bull was hanging around the meadow in 10/01 but never went near the trees. Great shots by the way. Anyway to brighten the yellows a tad?

I brightened the yellows a little more in the first image, think it maybe just a subtle difference.
