Saint Helens
An afternoon shot. The road is closed at the first view point so will have to remember to bring the bikes next time. Comments appreciated.
canon 5-d, 70-200 2.8 L, i think a 2x extender also.

I love that color green, it's almost an olive. i wasnt sure about the front trees but i decided that they were working for me, really shows the depth.

I like the front trees towards the middle, but the right bottom corner is a little distracting. I also feel the same about the smoke or fog......not quite enough in the plume to have real presence. Perhaps lowering the contrast in the smoke would help.
I love the detail that's showing up in the mountain. I think it could use a bit more contrast there to not appear hazy in comparison to the trees.

Very nice shot! I agree with Chris. You may want to try to crop those distracting elements out of the scene. However, I love the colors and the depth of the detail you captured. Nice job!

I was thinking a bit more contrast too Cliff.

It was pretty hazy already and i added contrast to just the mountain. Guess i will play some more with it, but in the long run, i kinna like it this way. :)
