Congratulations to our very own Christopher Jordan (aka CJ), and his photography partner, Ron Leonetti! On October 4, 2008, they released a new book, A Photographic Journey Across Michigan, Of Woods and Water.
I am proud and happy to say that I have my very own copy as of yesterday and highly recommend it to everyone who enjoys nature! CJ and Ron have done an excellent job of portraying the spectacular beauty of Michigan, from sunrise to sunset, from east to west, and north to south. Some of the places included are Sleeping Bear Dunes SP, Silver Lake Dunes SP, the Porcupine Mountains, and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite, yet must admit to being partial to Silver Lake, Sleeping Bear and Duck Lake (the latter is close to home if it's the one just north of Muskegon).
Thanks Toni - I'm pretty pleased with how it all turned out. We spent a lot of time and energy on the book, so hopefully folks will find it worthwhile. And it makes a wonderful holiday gift for the Great Lakes state fan on your list!
