The fall color along Richland Creek this morning was amazing! Tom & I were working downstream from the (closed) campground while Gale and Bill went upstream. I'm sure glad I was finally introduced to this area! A great weekend all around with Bill, Gale, Rod, Tom and myself.

Wayne, your shot selection is really great. Here is a shot of Wayne hard at work this morning!

Glad to see you made it down Wayne. Wish I'd been there. Great image!

Wow, what a gorgeous composition Wayne! Nice balance and the color palette is beautiful. - says "Fall in Arkansas" all over it.
I'm glad you could make the drive down this year - I think we hit the color at its peak down in the creeks and rivers. Still a few more days on the ridgetops, but it's been a great year so far...
Wayne a beautiful shot, love all the combos of fall colors and the water and rocks in the creek really says Richland!
After kayaking Richland Creek every chance I could for over ten years and know photographing it. Richland Creek is an area very dear to me. I am glad you got a taste of it. I really enjoyed finally meeting you. I look forward to more post from everyone.

Hey, Tom, good to meet you Sunday morning, and I'm sorry I didn't take time to stop and actually meet you, Wayne, but I took a wrong turn on a forest road and ended up getting to Richland about an hour later than I wanted to. I guess you noticed I was in kind of a rush when we came across each other.
As I was walking out I found hanging on some brush a shirt that had Boyd Metals written on it. A google search seems to indicate that you have something to do with that, Tom. Is there a way I can get your shirt back to you?

Randy, that could have been my pullover jacket. Was it black with Boyd Metals in white? If so, I had it attached to my camera bag and it must have fallen off. If you can send it to my attention at 600 south 7th street, Fort Smith, AR 72902, I will be glad to send you a check to cover your postage or UPS.
It was good to meet you also and thanks for picking up the pullover.

Hey Randy, so you're saying that we passed each other on the road into/out of Richland Creek about 9:45? I'd have stopped to chat if I'd known who I was passing.
Hope you had a chance to do some shooting and not just spending time picking up after Tom!
Maybe next time we will make connections. Looking forward to seeing the images you got from the area.

I was that old, fat guy with a black dog across the creek from you who walked into the shot you were working on sometime between 8 and 8:30. I was picking my way through the thick vegetation over there and then clambering over and around some boulders. We exchanged greetings, but I hurried on to look for the next shot. I didn't know it was you at the time, but I ran into Tom later and he filled me in.

Tom, I'm sure that's the one. I'll get that sent off to you, but there's no need to send me anything, although if you'd like, you could go on-line and re-imburse the amount to the Humane Society, the ASPCA, the WWF, the Nature Conservancy, the NRDC, or some organization of that nature. Or forget the money and just go out and hug a tree for me.
