AT on Unaka Mountain

On a tip from Harold Ross I set out across the Unaka Mountain Road Saturday. I was looking forward to the overlooks, but as you can see my entire trip across was shrouded in fog. No overlooks for me on this trip. So I got some nice moody fog shots instead

What was your set up (lense)? I suspect some cropping also? I really like this shot with the fog in the trees. Nicely done!

Makes me feel for those poor AT thru-hikers, even if they're having the time of their lives . Love the way you placed the fence and post with AT blaze to tell the story. I think you could lighten the bottom half of this a bit and still maintain that nice, moody element.

Nice one Thomas! I agree with Lori about boosting exposure in the lower portion of the photo. You could do this in a snap with Adobe Lightroom 2.0

If you do not have this software you need to buy it today!!!!!!
