Hi everyone. I just posted a link at photo.net and thought it might be of some interest to people on this list. It shows a handful of test images taken with the new 24.6 MP Sony a900 camera. While it seems true that high ISO images with this camera are not as good as those with recent Canon and Nikon bodies, low ISOs RAW files from the a900 have essentially no noise and an astounding amount of detail. The images can be found here: http://www.brettdeacon.com/gallery.php?gallery=Sonya900.

Good news for Minolta users. That's a lot of nice pixels for the price. Thanks for sharing Bret.
My first digicam was a Sony. It recorded 1MP images on floppy disks. Man, have they come a long way.
