Hi All,
The CNPA-Upstate had an outing to Dupont State Forest in North Carolina last Saturday.
Conditions were great!
This shot of Triple Falls was taken from the overview.

Beautiful image and scene Chuck, I would love to take the time to shoot more locations in that area !

Really nice, great colrs and you nailed the exposure. At first I did not like the people in the frame but I think they show the scale of the falls. I had no idea these falls were this big. You just put these falls on my list. Congrats - SandyLee

Great shot, makes me want to go see this area. I agree with the comment about the people providing scale.
My personal preference is a cooler rendition in these conditions, but that's just me. Great job!

I wondered whether to leave the people in or not. Could go either way.
I figured that it would give some scale to the falls.
I guess that I could use this image for either a nature magazine or a travel magazine.

For kicks, I asked the people to leave and cooled things off.
Any preference?

Great Shot! I myself was there in Summer 2007. I love the fall colors better. Looks like you were a few steps to the left. Down the hill of that trail is where I ran into a Diamond Back. No thanks!
