Tin Gold
The only reason for grabbing this one was this was the only tin I saw with the wonderful gold tones. Most of the tin had the cool rust and blue tones. I included quite a bit of the rustic, weathered wood as well.

A bit static? The details on the chrome are amazing though.

Thanks for looking.

Nelcha, I believe the north side of the Sam Leon Bar and Barber shop... :-)

Lon, I'm glad you did grab it, love the gold tones in the tin against the detail in the textured wood, well done :toast:

Very nice, Lon. I love these details of old wood, tin, bricks, and such. I like the yellow-gold in the wood that matches the similar tones in the tin. It is nicely composed with a hint of mystery to it. Good job!

:toast: These very fine Bodie images sure filled in & made a really great addition to the lacking fall colors and major winds we all dealt with on that weekend. The small sectional cut scenes have all been just super too. It also gives such a diverse look at the overall materials, and dare I say it, the craftsmanship used in these buildings of the era. Another wonderful scene, Lon.

I can definitely see why those gold tones would cause you to stop and grab an image. At this web size the colors and textures look like they would be fascinating to study. Did you happen to take any closer shots with less of the wood framing? That looks like it would be an interesting image as well.
