Keeping the 'theme' going...
As I now go back & forth up to Yorkshire on a regular basis I thought it might be worth speaking to some of the local farmers about access. Well happy to say I have kind permission to roam the fields and it's proving rather nice :-)

Early saturday morning and more luck than planning  I trust I am right in my ID that it is a Roe Deer.

Hello Steve

Nice shot like the background,

This is a female red deer and by judging by the size of its legs and also its general appearance I would say a bit of a Red/Sika cross.

I like this one, the females are often overlooked in favor for the males but I think they make great subjects.

Nice one

Lovely autumnal background. I was going to say it looks like a young red deer hind, you could well be right about red/sika cross. Not a new species, just a hybrid.

Nice shot! :toast:

Cracking shot Stephen. The colours are excellent and the subject looking straight into the camera gives this image lots of impact.
