Cader Idris near Dolgellau in Wales at Dawn with a sprinkle of snow on the peak.
I've spent a couple of weeks photographing all sorts of things in Wales, the main purpose of the trip was to photograph RAF Hercules at Low-level (images on my Flickr pages)however I was out at dawn and dusk, mainly as its a long climb up the hills with all the kit, but also shooting a variety of landscapes etc.
1DsMkIII + 20-35mm, 2stop ND grad, circular polarizer, tripod etc.
processed in DPP post processed, levels resize and sharpen in CS3

Looks damn cold Nigel
Nice looking shot - though I might be tempted to crop the grey clouds out as they don't seem to be adding much.
Perhaps a very small smidge off the bottom too just to lose those errant wall stones just clipping the frame edge.
Only my observations though - and what do I know about landscapes..!!

Think this would look amazing in a panoramic crop. Don't envy you getting out and about at that time and temperature!

It works for me as it is. Love that warm light on the mountain tops and the light covering of snow is the icing on the cake.
I think I would have framed tighter around the oarnge blaze sat above the snow capped Cadyr Idris as the foothills to left are a bit bland as well
