Not my usual subject matter, but an agent of mine wanted some vineyard shots with the leaves changing colors.

Nice design, Dan. I really like the oaks, but would like to see more detail in them. I know you're not a color neg film person, but I think the greater dynamic range would have been a boon, here. I like the yellows of the vines. Nicely done.

Nice color and depth to this one. I really like how my eye is pulled through the darker fg into that backlit background. I might favor a slight crop from the bottom, but then again I tend to see things in a more 3:2 format. Good stuff!

Very nice Dan. I'm not too keen on the road but still works great. You could lead a fall foliage wine tour by the looks of that color.

Dan, I like the backlight in the tree branches and vines but all that dark fg is too much for me, a horizontal crop starting just about the right side road edge (about a 1/4 up the right side) works for me.

Dan, as this is more towards a client for promotional usage possibly, I would try the slight crop from the bottm as already suggested.

Dan,

Very nice backlighting and a great autumn vineyard image. Hopefully they like what you captured and I'm assuming you might make a sale out it?

As a stock type image I like it as is. If you wanted it more towards what we're used to seeing on NPN, I would agree about cropping much of the bottom road out.

Hmm. Maybe a bit more detail in the foreground or cropped. Also I wish the frame were composed al ittle more to the right for balance.

Dan,

To be honest with you, I really don't feel the image captures the vineyard all that well. The lighting on it is nice, but overall I think it is such a small part of the image that it is lost.
