Slowly trying to catch up in processing my images with a long ways to go. Finally found a field of Sunflowers early last month, but I liked the closeups such as this one, better than the images of the whole field, for some reason.

Beautiful subject and image Toni, the light and color are wonderful !!
BTW I just tried to post another image as a reply to my own post and it wouldn't take, has something changed lately so I can't do that anymore?

Hmm..that's odd, Bernie! Nothing has changed as far as I know, and the browse box shows up for me here, although I'm not actually trying to post another image with this reply. Have you tried clearing the cache and temp files to see if that makes a difference?

Tony, I really like this shot. The green tones in the center of the flower compliment very nicely with the leaves in the periphery. Have you found early September is a good time for sunflowers in Mich?

Thank you, Brian. Yes, it certainly appears early to mid September is a good time for the sunflowers.
