Milkweed on a Minnesota shoreline
After strolling the shoreline on a cold morning I had a hard time picking my favorite image of Swamp Milkweed. Here's one. Your comments are welcome.

Canon 40D, 100mm macro, f11, 1/125, ISO 400, HH, slight crop on the left.

I like this shot, Ken. I saw some milkweeds the other day and, naturally, didn't have a camera with me at the time. I really like the detail here.

nice work, Ken. The DOF is excellent, with all the critical elements sharp and creamy bokeh on the left. I'm wondering what was in the background that gave you the nice, cool blue cast?

Interesting composition Ken. It works for me except for the upper right corner (where the background is showing). I'd personally crop it slightly just to reduce that distracting shape. Otherwise, it looks good. Very nice droplets on the seed - they add a nice touch.

Excellent capture and good lighting, Ken!
Tried it myself this afternoon but it was just too darn windy to get anything decent. :frown:
