Close to home...
Ok, this is seriously close - in my frontyard. The bushes around our yard are changing big time, so I've broke out the macro to play around over the last week. Can't get away to shoot fall in Utah due to work, so figure I better shoot the last of fall here in town.

This one was after a cold morning a couple weeks ago. Ran out to play before heading into work.

Michael,
All are very nice but especially like #2 and 3. Wow! Makes me wonder what's right under my nose?

These are all exceptional! I think #2 is my fave, but it's a tough call.

I was standing in my front yard yesterday, wearing shorts and a t-shirt, watering the lawn, looking at the water droplets forming on all the leaves that had fallen from my neighbor's tree into my yard. I thought about shooting some of these leaves yesterday, but your post might've spurred me to act.

Yes, amazing all! I really like #1 with its colours spiraling out of focus into the background. Very hard to choose a favorite, though.

Nice stuff, Michael. #2 is my fav. Think how much gas you saved!

Excellent! And no driving! I love how the leaves of fall develop patterns of color as they begin to dry.

The color variations in that leaf in #3 are amazing. Well done! #2 is wonderful as well

Great images! Great detail and the colors are amazing. Really like the frost in the second
image as well.

These are all really well done. No. 2 is off the charts for me. Really like that one.

Thanks for the comments everyone! It was a lot of fun shooting these, and I was really happy with the results. It's amazing what you can find around the old homestead!
