Very nice contrast of seasons! This image gives the impression of two images from different times of year blended together.

^ AJ said what I was thinking... I love the nice warm light on the foreground with the cool/darker background. Such contrast! I love the Painted Hills.

I'll agree too. It's an interesting effect; I'd have to say almost to much of a contrast for my eye.
