runaway!
Taken during a recent walking safari in Zambia. All along the river banks crocs would often lay up to sun themselves but even with the slightest movement in there direction and they would shoot off into the water.

D70s, 200/2.8, 1/2500 @ 2.8, iso 200

I am not the best at post production yet hence not attemtped removing the grass across the crocs face..also still awaiting my spyder3 elite so colours may be a bit off.

Cheers

Ben

Like the movement in this Ben, with the rising dust and raised legs but the fairly harsh light hasn't helped you out - walking safaris always seem to start a bit later in the morning, presumably to try and ensure any predators are tucked up for the day and visibility is better to avoid wandering into danger. Wonder if it would be worth cropping off the bright water at the top and trying to raise the shadows on the croc a little?

But just the way I like to see a croc running - away from me!
