Shot this a few months back from I-25 down in the Springs. It was right at sunset with some very low clouds. When the sun dropped below the clouds things lit up pretty good on Cheyenne Mountain. I tried a B&W conversion and don't do this very much so I wanted to see what y'all thought and see what advice you could give. Thanks.

I really like the BW version. Really brings out the sun rays.

I've seen a few evenings like this lately Scott, but never have a camera with me, or I am in a hurry to get home. You did a great job capturing a great atmosphere.

This is a great shot screaming for a pano treatment. Really looks good in BW

Great drama here, Scott. I really like this. I think the BW works really well.

Thank you everybody for your comments, here is a pano version, I think it does work better this way.

Yeah, the pano version really is sweet. Great shot.

Incredibly unique image. The uncropped version is way more dynamic, in my opinion. (Although, I think a bit of the bottom could be chopped off.) Regardless, this is one of the best photos I've seen lately. The high contrast B/W treatment is awesome.
