Perry Lake Hillside
I was really lucky to get the opportunity to spend last Saturday with Wayne. What a fun and wonderful day it was.
We spent the morning at Perry Lake. While Wayne was around the shoreline I wondered up a hill side as the sun came up. Some of the trees had already dropped their leaves and some where still hanging on. I couldn't get any higher up the hill to get the bare trees lower in this frame and the sky would have blown out if I included it in this. This was just as the sun was beginning to hit the tree tops on the other hillside. I thought the bare trees were actually kinda neat in this.

Not one of my favorite of your shots, Brad. However, at least you found some good color and got to spend a beautiful weekend outside.

I think this is gorgeous Brad. Nice color contrast between the beautiful leafed out trees and those that are bare. I might also crop the little bit of white sky at the top.

Brad, I think you captured a very nice combination of elements here. Trees during leaf off are often times more interesting that when they are leafed out. The graphic nature of the fg trees set against the colorful trees in the bg is very effective. Nice work partner!

Brad, nice work with the bare trees and color. I have to agree a slight crop from the top might benefit the shot.

You've caught some really great colors in the trees, and the near-silhouette of the bushes in front really make it more interesting. Cropping a little off the top would make this much stronger.

Nice shot Brad. I like the bare trees. A visually interesting combination with the colorful foliage.
