Nice one, Nick. I like the illuminated feathers of the wings!

Again different. Would have liked to see a little more in the face as per the wings style, but! Perhaps a 'pano' crop Nick, IMHO I feel there is just a bit too much room. :wavey:

A wonderfully atmospheric shot Nick

Well this is a different shot I sort of wish you were over exposed by 2/3rds rather than under exposed. But I do like silhouette photographs.

Quite different - the silhouette works well for me!

A great silhouette. Composition is fine in my opinion. Even with no detail in the face you can tell what bird it is, very distinctive. I like it a lot.

Have to say this works brilliantly for me too, the silhouette is unmistakable and the backlighting combined with the extra plus of the prey adds the interest and detail that colours and textures normally would. Maybe slightly low in the frame but that's nitpicking an otherwise lovely and different image
