Connecticut Shoreline
Not much color left, except on the shoreline. Here is a local pond with the last of its leaves reflecting brilliant color in the water.

the colors and the blue sky make for a dramatic bacdrop to this almost silhouetted tree. Your eye comes in from the left and yet you are drawn back to the reflection and the tree again. Well done.

Actually I have seen more and more abstract art (selling for 10-100X more than straight photography. I would like to see this flipped 90 degrees counter clockwise for an abstract version.

Lisa. Check out photo art... thanks for the suggestion. It was fun playing around with this image and if you're interested I'll sell it at only 5x what I get for a regular photo... to you only!

The colors are terrific. What a beautiful capture and presentation.

Patricia,

Great photo. I like the color and composition. Have you tried the paint /abstract function in Photoshop. The ripples in the photo will fit itself to abstract very well. Again a very good photo.
