CO NM Sunrise
Sunrise from Grand View in Colorado Nat'l. Monument yesterday.

This was the only image that I made. The clouds quickly took over, cottonwoods are past peak, and it was very windy on top. The temp in Fruita was 47 and it was 63 at Grand View. Crazy.

At the bottom of the clouds you can see the wind whipping them around. Stunning color and shot Dave.

Must have been quite a sunrise to witness. I really like the darker tone to the image and the inclusion of the rocks in the foreground.

This is a killer CNM image! I love the way the clouds are throwing all that warm light on already warm-toned rocks.

Great sunrise Dave. Great fire reds and oranges throughout.

What a great cloud display! Indeed the reflected light adds alot, too.

Very nice image, the colors are amazing. I haven't seen too many images from the monument. :toast:

Very nice Dave! We've had some terrific sunrises lately, make gettin up early worth the effort!
