Early morning fumble
One from DK a couple of weekends ago. Not entirely sure if this one works so I thought I'd throw it to the lions and see what the general feeling is. Gorgeous light just after the sun came up, just wish it had hung around for a while longer! Still, there's always next time

As you mention Richard, the light is very special on this one. However, for me the seals are morphing into one indistinct shape, if there had been even a small amount of a gap between the heads to show that there is in fact two seals mating it would have improved it for me.

Have to agree with Robert here, great light but it just needs that separation between the two seals...

Apart from what was mentioned, I would like to see a little cropped off the bottom just to bring it up to the smoother water but that's just personal preference.

Really like the shot tho !

Richard
I sell you a decent lens and that's all you can do with it, one black blob sneezing over another black blob in a sauna what a waste of money.

Still we had a laugh, see you later. :wavey:

I have to agree with the other commenters: this is a so nearly shot. At first I didn`t notice there were two animals present. Just a little separation between the two, and you`d have a winner. The light is beautiful - just wish I was a morning person!

   I've been sold a duff lens, it just blobafies everything  The trip was worth it for the mini cows though on the way home...

I wasn't quite sure what it was that bugged me before but that nails it I think - more separation. I might see if I can get anything back in a re-edit as there are whiskers etc visible of the blob in front of the blob...I mean the seal in front of the other seal

Ta all

Very nice Richard, the light reflected on the wet skin is lovely as are the morning colours. Agree with Jeremy - me too!
