I had a great time returning to NE Ohio a few weeks ago to conduct a workshop. The color was quite strange in that there were areas that were completely finished, completely green or just at peak.
It was great to see lots of good friends and capture that distinctive smell of the fall in the hardwood forests.
The final day of the workshop was spent in the CVNP. Conditions were quite good and the rain even held off until the final image was shot about 4:30PM.
Chuck B. joined us foe the afternoon at Bridal Veil falls. We reminisced about some of the good days shooting in the park etc over a few beers afterward.
This images was made early afternoon at the Tinkers Creek overlook in the Bedford Reservation, not far from Bridal Veil Falls.
I am already looking forward to next year. This is and always will be a special place to me.

In one way it is good that not too many take advantage of what we have to offer.
In another way they don't know what they are missing.
