Works for me but would prefer a tad more space on the left hand side
Apart from that its fine.

Ditto for me.

Another common and grossly under-rated subject. I think they are beautiful and really benefit from the close-up treatment. The eye is superb, the colours subtle, my only nit is that this image is neither one thing or the other. Closer still (a head shot) or further away (the entire birs) would be better for me, but nice post all the same. Hard to believe that at the end of the fifties the closest collared dove to Britain lived in Turkey.

Really appreciate the colours of these birds in a shot like this. Agree about the space on the left, but think the "half bird" composition works well

Needs space on the left in my opinion. A "close up " needs to be a big crop or really close in my view. But who am I ?
Hard to believe that I lived within 15 miles of the first recorded breeding pair of these birds in Lincolnshire in the 50's

Certainly works for me. A very dainty and pretty species that looks great up close like this.
