So who's posted stuff for the fall color contest so far? There is only about 10 more days before the submission period closes. Time to start editing!!!
Do we have to wait until the 18th to see what's been submitted so far? Best of luck to you all. (I didn't get out to shoot much this fall, so I'm not sure I'll have anything to enter).
Rene is in charge of the contest and has eth 'keys' to put the images in. We have both been on the road for work a lot lately (for me it has been 5 weeks straight so-far). I will check with him since I still need to get my images out there too.
Rene - Are you out there?

I thought it was cuz nobody wanted to go first!

yeah - I think Todd is right. 1100 + views on a thread announcing a fall contest with zero replies...

I got an email from Rene a couple of days ago. He said that he was indeed travelling and would be back into town this weekend to catch up with things and start posting submissions.

Dang, I haven't even started making fall images yet. This contest is biased against Southern AZ!!!

Rene is off shooting the wave--should be back now, I spent a couple days in Zion shooting with him.

Image shot 10/03, Horseshoe Meadows, RMNP. Let me know what you think?

Sorry for the late reply…
I have been living in Atlanta, GA since the beginning of October for an import project, which took up every minute of my time. Then I finally managed to get in some shooting last week in Zion and Utah (actually, conditions were no good – so I didn’t shoot much all!).
Also, the reason you have not seen anything posted on the Fall Color Contest page is that I did not receive the first and lonely submission until 10/30/2008! Then everyone else started submitting on 11/5/2008 – talk about procrastination!
And if that isn’t enough, my PC at home went down – hardware failure.
I know – excuses, excuses!!! I will update the contest page as soon as my PC is repaired.
