I have started a new project called Arkansas Icons which will be my take on often photographed locations in the state. The first in the series is known as Little Hawksbill Crag along the White River just south of Calico Rock, AR. Due to the record rainfall this year, the White is still at capacity this autumn. Most years it has a very small flow by this time.

I'd like to see this in person sometime. Beautiful comp and colors.

Colors are beautiful. Nice comp. However, detail seems a bit soft. Did you use a filter?

No filter Daniel, just good old alpine glow on a hazy evening.

Really nice comp Ed and a beautiful scene. It's got something the Crag doesn't ... water! I like the repeating patterns, fall colors and magenta glow. Well composed.
Good luck on your project, sounds like a good idea.

I really like the color in this Ed, but that pine tree growing out of the rock looks, well, strange - maybe a little too dominant in the composition. Still a very nice image though.

The color and glow in this is just beautiful Ed. It's a unique composition, but I find it very pleasing.

I like the composition, and all of the elements in the image. HDR images often come off as unnatural, and for me this is one of them.

Really nice Ed. I like the soft pastel colors. The comp is great. Makes me want to be there.

Hi Ed really a great shot. I love everything about it.It's my kinda image actually. I love the tree on the bluff and the colors are great and look natural to me. I know my eye can see all these colors and the dynamic range when I am there and that's how I want my images to look. Again a beautiful shot and great timing on the fall colors and sky.
