Explosion of Canada Geese
I was out at dawn last Saturday at one of the spots that these geese like to frequent. They were swimming around and just as I had put my camera on the tripod they decided to take off. Looked like they all just exploded into the air at once, hence the title.

I was shooting into the sun. Camera: Canon xti ISO: 100 Shutter: 1/200 F stop: 7.1 Lens: Canon 70 - 300 zoom at 70mm (I didn't have time to zoom in close)

Comments welcome

Louis, nice warmth with tough conditions. Don't you wish our subjects could sit still until we're ready!

Thanks, Bruce. This was probably the best shot out of about 8 that I managed to fire off. The others were too blurry. I left the geese and went to Spitler Woods Conservation Park and found a couple of deer. I had a pretty good day for photos after all.
