Intimate Prairie
First, I really appreciate the comments on my last post.
There was a while when the sun was going down that I was really fighting flare issues and just a little to much brightness. So I concentrate on the the color areas of the hillsides and there was plenty of opportunities. As always all I have to do is slow down and look.

Another from standing in the same spot.

These are nice Brad, especially the first one. There seems to be a slight Orton effect on the top one, maybe both?

I like both of these Brad. The first one has more lines and contrast but the texture and flow of the colors in both are great. Great pair of shots.

I'm partial to the first one Brad. In addition to the nice comp it has that wonderful glow and painterly feeling that make people stop and look. I wondered what you'd come up with when I saw you extracting these intimate comps.

Both have something of an Impressionist quality to them, but especially the first.
