Hi Tom
Great viewing angle and very different - I like it. What did you have a seed tray for a hat

it's an impressive shot. I'd be interested to hear how you took it.

Firstly I have a pair of co-operative Collar Doves who visit a bird table in the garden. Their normal behaviour is to first land on top of a pergola which is about 20' from the bird table and then to fly to that table.
This shot was taken when I was kneeling by the bird table and being able to focus & fire when he was about 10' away.

Hi Tom,
A well executed image and a great final result, very different from the norm.

Cool Tom, very different take on this species. Like the way you still have detail in the body despite it being shaded
