More Buffalo II
Fooled you! This isn't the famed Buffalo River in Arkansas but rather a lone cow I isolated for a shot from a herd wandering the Konza prairie last Saturday. Just wanted to share this mid-afternoon shot of a magnificent species that once dominated this landscape. Have a great weekend!

Wayne, you are tricky! Nice shot of the Bufflalo in its native habitat.

Bison is the correct nom de plume! Grand creatures well adapted to the hardships of life on the Great Plains. It is hard to imagine now that there were once herds of thousands roaming from Eastern Colorado to North Dakota to Texas. Thankfully, efforts to preserve the species have helped save them from extinction.

You had me going! Nice shot Wayne. Are they dangerous? You seem to be pretty close to those horns.

A cool buffalo shot wayne. Love the surrounding grasses, colors and the angle.
